As usual, Kenneth Mykel Smith and I are teaming up to give you our best Eagles player prop advice. We thought it might be fun to continually check/compare our favorite player prop bets and see how we fare!
Here is how our picks have gone so far this year:
Kenneth Mykel Smith - 11/23
Dave Miller - 10/23
Kyler Murray OVER 1.5 Touchdown passes -117
Bettor: Dave Miller
Murray looked much better, and healthier last week having nursed a shoulder injury over the past month. With the eagles secondary being beyond decimated it should be a somewhat easy task for him.
Kenyan Drake OVER 53.5 rushing yards -134
Bettor: Kenneth Mykel Smith
The Eagles defense is average against the run and the Cards use Drake like a bellcow. If this game gets out of hand quick, he will see plenty of touches to meet the over.
DeAndre Hopkins to score a touchdown +115
Bettor: Dave Miller
Remember that famous image of Eric Rowe flying in the air as Megatron caught that touchdown pass? We could see a repeat of that in some form with the Eagles without Darius Slay. Murray will back Hopkins against any corner, and now without Slay expect him to throw it up to him in the red zone consistently.
Jalen Hurts OVER 210.5 passing yards -112
Bettor: Kenneth Mykel Smith
Jalen Hurts used his legs a lot in his win against the Saints. While, I’m sure he will continue to use them, this game could shape up to be “keep up or lose” for the Eagles. That’s going to require some passing yards for the rook.
Christian Kirk OVER 3.5 receptions -112
Bettor: Kenneth Mykel Smith and Dave Miller
The Kyler and Kirk connection is real and this Eagles secondary is in shambles. If Murray doesn’t have a field day, I’d be surprised.
Jalen Reagor OVER 33.5 receiving yards -112
Bettor: Dave Miller and Kenneth Mykel Smith
Jalen Hurts has gushed over the relationship he and Reagor have created since coming into the league. It seems that Hurts has a lot of faith in the rookie receiver, and had he not picked up a knock last week Reagor would’ve gotten more yards.
