As usual, Kenneth Mykel Smith and I are teaming up to give you our best Eagles player prop advice. We thought it might be fun to continually check/compare our favorite player prop bets and see how we fare!
Here is how our picks have gone so far this year:
Kenneth Mykel Smith - 7/15
Dave Miller - 6/15
Miles Sanders to score a touchdown +140
Bettor: Dave Miller & Kenneth Mykel Smith
The Packers are one of the worst defenses against the run, and Sanders is the Eagles best player on offense. They are going to have utilise him as much as they can to ensure they have any chance of being competitive. The Packers love giving up long runs too, and Sanders already has two 70+ yard runs this year, if leant on he should find the end zone.
Carson Wentz OVER 14.5 rushing yards -112
Bettor: Kenneth Mykel Smith
With reports of play-calling changing, I see Carson being a little more involved in rollouts, getting out of the pocket, which will lead to some rushing yards.
Davante Adams to score 2+ touchdowns +275
Bettor: Dave Miller
Adams is one of the NFL's best receivers, and every Eagles fan knows what he did to the secondary last season. Darius Slay is questionable to play in the game, and even if he does feature, he will be carrying a knock which will hurt his play against one of the NFL's most elite players. Adams is a serious threat in the red zone, and if there is no Slay expect Aaron Rodgers to throw his way all night.
Davante Adams OVER 84.5 yards -125
Bettor- Kenneth Mykel Smith
This should be like clock work. I imagine Darius Slay will trail, but I imagine the Packers will also scheme him open. He's too important to the Packers' offense.
Carson Wentz UNDER 21.5 completions -137
Bettor: Dave Miller
Monday night was the first time that Wentz had completed more than 21 passes since the Eagles' win over the New York Giants. It is evident that Wentz has struggled immensely this season, and with Press Taylor expected to call plays, he should do all he can to help the quarterback he closely works with daily. He should know that Green Bay struggles against running backs and base the offensive game plan around that. In last years 34-27 victory, Wentz completed 16 passes, whilst they ran the ball 33 times. That has to be the approach again for the Eagles to compete.
Carson OVER 1.5 TD passes +150
Bettor: Kenneth Mykel Smith & Dave Miller
This line is my go-to and has only disappointed me once so far this year. I'm going to bet it until it ain't broke.
