Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz will not be back next season as he intends to let his contract expire and take a year off from coaching in 2021, according to reports. NFL.com reporter Tom Pelissero broke the news just minutes ago that Schwartz is considering retirement.
Jim Schwartz, 54, will coach his last game with the Eagles tomorrow night at home against the Washington Football Team. He has been with the Eagles the past 5 seasons, dating back to 2016, and was a key part of the Super Bowl Championship in 2017.
