He might not be playing Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens but the Philadelphia Eagles might be getting back one of their weapons for QB Carson Wentz when they take the field Thursday against the Giants.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning that WR Desean Jackson is expected to return from his hamstring injury this Thursday when the Eagles take on the G-Men! Jackson hasn't played in a game since week 3 against Cincinnati.

One of the biggest disappointing re-signings in recent memory for the Eagles have been the return of WR Desean Jackson. The 33 year old wideout signed with Philadelphia in March of 2019 for a 3 year, $27.9 Million contract. Since his return in 2 seasons, he has been plagued by a numerous amount of injuries only playing in 6 games totaling only 19 catches for 280 yards and 2 TDs. It's still unsure how much is left in the tank but the Eagles need all the help they can get at the moment for Wentz with the limited wide receiving core that is missing Alshon Jeffery and 1st round selection Jalen Reagor. The Eagles current leading receiver is the 2nd year wideout Travis Fulgham with 209 yards, all of which was over the last 2 games! Eagles fans can only hope D-Jack can provide an impact but with recent history im not holding my breath.
