A pivotal week 3 matchup for the Eagles as they try and right the ship and get in the win column. A young and hungry Cincinnati team comes in wanting to pull out an upset. Tyler Boyd v Nickell Robey-Coleman
The Eagles slot corner has struggled as of late, which safe to say the whole defense had a tough time Sunday vs. LA. Cincinnati comes in with a Tyler Boyd who’s a very shifty and crafty slot receiver. NRC will need to contain Boyd who commands attention as AJ Green is still a reliable wideout but injuries in recent years have slowed his production.
Joe Mixon v Eagles Run D
Eagles run defense has always been a strength, but Sunday after starter Cam Akers got hurt the Rams would use Darrell Henderson. Henderson, Malcolm Brown along with wide receiver runs LA racked up 191 yards on 39 carries. It doesn’t get easier with talented backfield of Joe Mixon and Giovani Bernard. Neutralizing the Cincinnati ground attack will be key to slowing down the Bengals offense.
Joe Burrow v Jim Schwartz
DC Jim Schwartz has gotten some heat this past week with the dismal performance from his unit Sunday. Rookie QB Joe Burrow comes in and Eagles Defense needs to rattle him with pressure and make him uncomfortable.
